Only prints double sided.

Printer is set for single sided printing only. Always have to change reader printing setting from double to single side only and always prints double sided. Can't find any other settings to check. Stuck on default of double sided printing. No idea what to do.

I am having this problem too.  Using Mac OS X 10.13.6 and Acrobat XI.  Have also tried on Acrobat Reader DC and same thing happens.  The printer driver in the firmware is set to 2 sided off.  The printer in OS X has the 2 sided checks box empty.  Have closed Acrobat and also restarted Mac, both with no luck.

The printer driver is for Brother HL-L6200DW series

Thanks for help

Dan

This is hard to answer because it most likely has to do with your printer driver (You have not said which operating system, printer or printer driver which makes it even more difficult to help).
There are many options that Acrobat does not have direct access to, printer features like double sided, ink saving and draft mode are among these.

Please state your OS and version! What printer do you use?

Please go to "Printer Properties" on the Acrobat print dialog box and check there if your printer is not set as duplex printing by default.

I stated all settings are changed to single side only. Will always go back

from my changed setting of single to default of double side. I know duplex

is default and chanded it to single everyday printing. No effect. Everytime

I close out, I go back to check settings and always reverts to default.

Never will my change settings be saved. Does what it wants. I just

installed it so lateset version, my feeling is to uninstall and go find

much previous version that works.

Also: Acrobat does not change any print settings. Closing Acrobat and opening again will fall back to the printers default settings.
