Open PDF from Browser not Working

I recently unsubscribed from Adobe DC which seemed to be weak and also unusable without internet connection. I also uninstalled Adobe Reader. I then installed Adobe 9.

Now, when I open PDF files from the internet they do not load. I do not get an error message, just no file opened. My PDFs open fine from the hard drive, associated to Adobe 9 and everything.

Why will PDF files not open from a browser?

Any help is appreciated.

Except for Internet Explorer, no browsers currently support the Adobe plugin, unfortunately. If you're using some other browser report this issue to the developers of that browser, or change your settings so that the file is saved instead of opened directly in it, and then open it using Acrobat or Reader.
