Open Pdfs in Roland Cut Studio Version 1.30

Hello. I have a client who says he used to be able to open pdfs in Roland Cut Studio software. He is doing this on a Win XP desktop system. It is Roland Cut Studio version 1.30. Now, when he tries opening any pdf in Cut Studio, it says either, Unexpected File Format or Bad File Format. I have tried different settings, nothing works? How come he was able to do this ok before but, now can't open pdfs in Cut Studio? Roland so far, has not responded.

    Hi, @defaultskxk8kf47o0k. Well, I'd do two things: First, I'd see if I could open the documents in Acrobat Reader. This is a free product, so this should be easy. (This assumes that you have administrator rights for your computer and can add software).

     

    You can download it here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

     

    If Acrobat Reader cannot open the document, then yes, the file may be corrupted, and I'd go back to the source and ask for a new copy of the PDF.

     

    If Acrobat Reader can open this file, the next thing I'd do is contact Roland Cut Studio, as it's their product that can't read the PDF.
