Open sans font

I downloaded the font, but the font isn't visible on the font list while I'm working with my document

(the font name is grey). Open sans changes to Minion Pro, and the communication says "the original font OP is  unavailable or it cannot be used in edition.". How can I fix this?

Hi,

Can you confirm the exact version of your operating system and software.

Can you also confirm that the font works in other applications?

I just downloaded the font from Google (Open Sans - Google Fonts) and installed it.

There are 2 options the combined ttf (like: OpenSans-Italic-VariableFont_wdth,wght.ttf) and the individual variations in the static folder. which ones did you install?
