Opening a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5 starts to print it

Hi

I'm having an issue with Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5 Pro which is starts to print PDF files as soon as I try to open it.

Acrobat isn't even visible but just "Save file as PDF" since CutePDF writer is default printer.

I've tried setting different default app for PDF's such as Chrome which opens PDF's just fine.

I've also disabled javascript from Acrobat settings but it didn't help.

As soon as I change default app back to Acrobat Pro and double click a file it launches printing dialog.

However, if Acrobat is open and I drag a file into Acrobat window it will open it normally.

I'd rather not re-install...

Using Windows 10 64 bit.

The solution was rather easy.

I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat Cleaner and used it for clean up.

And after restart it seems like it has solved this issue.

This should not happen (at least not if JS is disabled), but your version is very old and not compatible with your operating system, so problems are to be expected.
