Opening Acrobat XI PDF Portfolios in Acrobat DC

Question

How can I open a PDF Portfolio that was created in Acrobat XI Pro in the new Acrobat DC Pro?  I'm running Windows 10 Pro and all I get is the menu bars at the top and a black screen.  Alternatively, is there way to convert/import an encrypted PDF Portfolio that was created in Acrobat XI Pro into the new Acrobat DC Pro?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open a PDF Portfolio that was created in Acrobat XI Pro in the new Acrobat DC Pro.
