Opening document from cloud crashes Adobe on Mac

Question

I edit a saved doc  via fill n sign  in the field on an ipad.  Name it and then send to cloud. Then when I am home, I try and open the doc  from the cloud. The Mac that I am using at home immediately crashes Adobe.
Do Ineed to buy another subscription? Anyone?

If you have saved the PDF on Adobe Cloud, you may open it from an Acrobat Online account. Open the link https://acrobat.adobe.com/ and sign in using your Adobe ID.

Go to the Documents tab and check your file in the list under Your Documents.

Please confirm if you are trying to open the PDF in the Acrobat application.

If the application crashes on opening the PDF, try opening the application first and let us know if it still crashes.
