Opening files by Adobe Acrobat and the pages are blank

I merged five PDF files, but when I open the last one with Adobe Acrobat, it appears blank, stating that 'An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly.' I'm concerned that recipients won't be able to view the complete file. Is there a solution for this?
