Opening PDF files in Acrobat DC

I am unable to open any of my PDF file in Acrobat DC. What is going on??

Hi zdick,

Assuming you have MS Word installed on your machine, could you please try the following steps:

Create a document in MS Word>print it to Adobe PDF>try to open the file in Acrobat, and see if it still shows the same error.

Could you please confirm the version of Acrobat DC installed on your computer?

To check the version- launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat

Were you able to open pdf files before, have you made any changes to the application or to your computer like updates?
