Question

Opening PDF from Adobe document cloud

Hi,

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud via the company I work for. In this package, most (all?) Adobe Creative Cloud applications are included, also Adobe Acrobat Pro.

I also use this account on my iPad and my laptop. On the iPad, I am able to open PDF files that are in the Adobe cloud without any issue. However, on the desktop, I can only do so via the in-browser online application. If I use the desktop Adobe Acrobat Pro, I cannot find any PDFs that show up in the online in-browser application, or in the IOS Adobe Reader application.

Anyone knows how I could access the documents in the cloud via the desktop Adobe Acrobat Pro?

Thanks in advance,

Marcell

Hi @Marcell33581817q1pe

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please go to Preferences (Ctrl,Cmd+K) > General > Select , 'Show online storage when opening files' > Click OK and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.

Hello Amal,

Many thanks for your response. I have executed the steps you have indicated, unfortunately nothing changes whether "Show online storage when opening files" is selected or not.

Any other tips how I could access my pdf docs in the cloud?

Best,

Marcell
