Opening pictures at a certain size

Hello,

I am using a Dell 5290 2-in-1. I'm working with a process that requires me to take pictures to my camera roll and then open them as PDFs in Acrobat. Every time I add a picture to the document, it comes in at the cameras size and is 44in x 33in. I need to know if there is a way to have pictures that I add to the document open at 8.5 x 11. It seems acrobat automatically rotates and resizes the picture when I select it using the "edit PDF" function. But, is there a way to skip this step so that I does this automatically when the picture is added?

It might rotate it, but I don't think it resizes it. You can resize the image in advance using an image editor, or after importing it into the file (although that will only change the way it's displayed, not the actual image dimensions).
