Optimize Scanned PDF on multiple files

I'm using Acrobat XI 11.0.1 and I'd like to run "Optimize Scanned PDF" on many pdf files. I'm not scanning, the pages are already in pdf.

It seems that I have to optimize the files one by one, that would take a lot of time; is there a way to run a batch optimization?

Under "Text Recognition" there is a function for Multiple Files, but Text Recognition has less options than Optimize Scanned PDF and I need some of them. I don't have Action Wizard.

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query.

Optimize Scan on multiple files option doesn't come up automatically like you have an option for "Text Recognition".

However, you can achieve this with the help of Custom Action following the steps here-

Tools -> action wizard -> Optimize Scanned Documents -> drop down menu and select files or folder of PDFs -> then under enhance it will say " add document description"

Hope this will help.

Thank you, but as I said, I don't have (or can't find) Action Wizard
