Out-of-support license exceeds number of activations

Question

I have an Adobe Acrobat DC 2017 license and I have exceeded the number of activations allowed by changing PCs over the years. Adobe technicians tell me that since the license is out of support, they cannot help me. Is there a solution or do I need to buy a new one?
