Outlook PDF previewer - "This File cannot be previewed cause there is no previewer installed for it"

Hello, 

Many of our users are experiencing an issue with being unable to preview a PDF without Outlook. I have checked

  • Trust Centre/Attachment handling settings
  • all the registry settings for pdfs within outlook
  • reinstalled adobe to latest version
  • installed 32bit reader dc to match our 32bit office 365
  • confirmed there is no power toys installed 
  • change the default pdf to edge or other app like Kofax and the previewer works 

 

Any further advice would be appreciated
