Page dimensions disabled

I've recently did a clean install, updated to Windows 11, and reinstall Adobe suite. When trying to scan through Acrobat with my Epson ES-500W II, I'm not able to scan front and back. I get the error "Please input some valid page dimensions." When I go to the settings to edit page dimenssions, the drop down is disabled. Along with the other drop downs (color mode, resolutios).

I've tried going into the predefined scan settings, and I get the error "The scann doesn't support any of the sselected values. Please configure the preset."

Acrobat is up to date, scanner drivers and software is upto date.

I've had mixed success over the years with Acrobat and different scanners (but I am using a Mac, so things may be different on a Windows computer). My current solution is to scan using the Mac's image capture tool, which can create a PDF file. I then load that PDF file into Acrobat and use the "Enhance Scanned Document" feature in Acrobat's Scan & OCR tool group. This way, the scanning works, and I am still getting the benefit of the image processign that Acrobat does.

When you say a "clean install", is that just Acrobat or Acrobat and the scanner driver? Something got messed up in the process (and there is probably a good chance that Windows 11 is to blame). Do you know if your scanner driver is compatible with Windows 11?

Clean install as in wiped hard drive and reinstalled windows and drivers. And then reinstallling Adobe suite.

I checked Espons website and they claim their drivers are compatible with Windows 11.

The Epson software is able to scan front and back. I've always preferred to use Acrobat instead.
