What in the world is happening here? I've been having issues with PDF visuals for a while now but this tops it.  I'm on Acrobat 24.1. Windows 11. How do I fix this?

Any other tips here? Support won't help me on this and just resort to basic troubleshooting, which I already did plenty of. This bug is really annoying.

What is the source of the document? Which application created the PDF file?

Hi, the file properties say it's an 1.6 PDF Acrobat 7.x version. PDF Producer is Distiller Windows 9.0.0

Hi @Philomelos_ ,

Is this happening with every PDF document that you view in Acrobat?

Would the same document display the same behavior if you're viewing it with another program (i.e. a web browser, a different PDF reader or file viewer with PDF viewing capability)?

From looking at the shared video it looks as if that PDF was produced from a scanned document.

Can you tell how this document was produced before it was turned into a PDF?

Hi, thanks for your response. The PDF was downloaded from here: https://dukespace.lib.duke.edu/server/api/core/bitstreams/2318a793-cc99-4b22-adad-00a8529314cf/content.

It does not show the same behavior if I view it with something else than Acrobat. Only Acrobat yields this behavior.

Also, this does not happen with all PDFs I'm viewing in Adobe but a good amount. I read a lot of PDFs, I would say about 10%.
