Panel doesn't Display in Acrobat Pro

Hi Adobe Community,

I’ve been experiencing several issues with Adobe Acrobat, and unfortunately, none of the solutions I’ve tried so far have worked.

Here are the issues I’m currently facing:

  • The Edit panel does not appear. It is completely blank. I have already installed the latest version of Acrobat, but the issue remains.

  • When I select Save As, nothing appears either. The panel is completely blank.

  • I have tried several solutions suggested in the community, including installing the patch and using Registry Editor, but none of them worked.

  • I also tried selecting “Disable New Acrobat.” In the old interface, I can edit files, but I still cannot use Save As because the panel remains blank, just like in the new version.

  • Now there is an additional issue: whenever I try to print a file and select Properties, Acrobat suddenly crashes and force closes.

  • This issue has been ongoing for almost two months, and I still haven’t found a working solution.

  • I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat multiple times, but the problems persist.

At this point, I’m really frustrated because I need these features for my work, and the issues have been going on for two months without a solution.

I would really appreciate any help or a reliable solution to resolve these issues.

Thank you.

@nekobot Sorry to hear that you are experiencing so much issues with Acrobat Pro. I am using MacBook Pro M5 Max with Tahoe 26.2.2 with 64gigs of RAM. I do have ‘new Acrobat’ disabled as I don’t like the new Acrobat interface (am kinda old school). I don’t have this issue.

The one thing I noticed is that you have:

    • I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat multiple times, but the problems persist.

The screenshots you’re describing (blank panels, Save As not loading, Properties crashing) almost always point to corrupted Acrobat support files that don’t get removed during a normal uninstall.  Sometimes, uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat multiple times may leave old install files. I would uninstall it again, but this time use the Adobe Cleaner Tool, to help fix common issues, such as removing outdated Adobe software, cleaning corrupt files. Once you use this, make sure to empty the trash or delete the trash. Then go back to Creative Cloud Desktop App, and download a new, fresh installer. Don’t use the previous versions of install files, as that could be corrupted. Better yet, delete those too!

So hopefully, you can see this:

Thank you for the recommendation you provided. I have tried the suggested solution, and the errors have now been resolved.

Initially, I could not find the Acrobat Reader option in the Adobe Cleaner Tool, so I searched for another solution and eventually used the AcroCleaner Tool instead.

After reinstalling Acrobat, the errors were still occurring at first. However, when I tried the repair installation option, all the issues with the edit panel, save As, and print functions were resolved.

Thank you again for your assistance and recommendation.
