Paper jam or paper tray empty message when printing from Adobe Reader/Acrobat

Fehlermeldung nur den beiden Adobe Programmen.

Word, Pages oder txt-Dokumente lassen sich problemlos drucken.

now I printed the PDF as Picture. It works. Maybe the problem is the pdf itself.

Could you please let me know the version of Reader/Acrobat installed on the machine?

To do that, launch Reader for ex. go to Acrobat Reader>click About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Have you tried printing when Mac is connected to the printer through USB?

I am using the version Acrobat Pro DC 2015.023.20056. It's the newest version i've got in the CreativeCloud.

I have never tried printing through USB because the printer stands in another room.
