Password not able to unlock Adobe Document Cloud (DC) Account Digital ID on macOS

Hi Acrobat Specialist,

 

I had been told that Adobe Document Cloud (DC) Account Digital ID Signature on macOS 10.14 or 10.15 sometimes cannot be unlocked (not accepting user's password).  The only solution is to remove that Adobe Document Cloud (DC) Account Digital ID Signature,

and create a brand new Adobe Document Cloud (DC) Account Digital ID Signature.

 

Anyone experienced similar issue?

What is the latest Acrobat DC Pro version now?

Is there a different version of Acrobat DC Pro we can try or other Acrobat software?

Hi Alex,

I think you have created a Digital ID and locked it using Digital ID Pin or Password. Have you forgotten it or its not accepting the one you are entering?

Your observation is correct! If a Digital ID is not being unlocked, then either you need to delete this or create a new one to proceed. There's no other way to bypass the password pop-up.

 

Below are the answers for your last 3-questions-

1- Yes, people who have created PIN or Password and now forgotten, must have experienced this issue.

2- Latest version of Acrobat Pro DC is 20.012.20043. You can check this list for more details: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

3- No, there is no other version that could help in this. Nothing that we could suggest.
