Password Restriction for a Form - How to allow adding pages

Question

I have some forms that calculate asset values, etc. I want to restrict end-users from messing with the calculations so I lock the form with a password.

The problem is that when it is locked, the users cannot add pages to the document. I need them to be able to add a pdf of the invoice for the asset to become part of the record.

My options:

Inserting, Deleting and Rotating Pages
Filling in Fields and signing existing signature fields
Commenting, filling in form fields, and signing existing signature fields
Any except extracting fields

Does anyone know how to restrict such that I can Insert Pages and Fill in and sign ?

Hi @LGN__,

I have a workaround that may not be what you are looking for, but it may be helpful. Try the following:

Set the file's password restriction to "Commenting, filling in form fields, and signing existing signature fields."
Enter a desired password, and click Ok. Save the file
You may try attaching an attachment to the file: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/links-attachments-pdfs.html. Check the section: "Add attachments to PDFs"

This way, your file remains secure or cannot be modified. Once you receive the file with attachments, you can add them to the main document.
