Pasting text into document not available after latest update

Usually we pasted text from a Notepad++ or similar into a pdf file with Ctrl+V.

This resulted in a red square box on the pdf page with the input we provided (see screenshot attached).

Since the latest version which was recently installed, this feature doesn't work anymore. Any idea how to solve?
