Payment error

Hi! I had a free trial subscription to Acrobat Pro, and I canceled it on the same day it ended. At the same time, Adobe tried to charge my bank account 23.79 euros, but I didn’t have enough funds. My question is: do I still need to make that payment, even though I didn’t use the app afterwards? The transaction still appears in my banking app, and they’re asking me to deposit the correct amount of money to complete the payment.

@vlad_4782  Yes, you are still responsible for the payment. When you signed up for the free trial, you likely agreed to terms that state your subscription would automatically convert to a paid plan if you didn't cancel before the trial ended. You may indeed cancel on the last day, but because of time zones, you got ding. That's why you should always cancel 2 or three days early. Or don't even bother with free trials!

Even if you didn't use the app after the trial, the subscription became active, and the charge was incurred. Since the payment failed due to insufficient funds, Adobe still considers that amount owed. You can typically resolve this by depositing the required funds into your bank account so the payment can be processed, or by logging into your Adobe account online to update your payment information and manually make the payment. Once the outstanding balance is cleared, you should then be able to cancel your subscription through your Adobe account settings to prevent future charges. https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
