This has probably been done a million times, but I need help with a calculation that is something used all the time I am sure. I can do it in Excel but it does not seem to translate into Adobese. I have one cell that has part numbers and then I have 2 other cells. One that has prices that go with certain part numbers and the other has descriptions that go with both. I just need to set it up so that when a part number is chosen in that cell, then the coresponding description opens in the next cell and price is entered in the another cell. Is this possible?

The 2nd correct answer in this thread tells you how to do it:

I also have a (paid for) tool that will allow you to easily fill the dropdown by copying and pasting 2 columns from Excel:

Why yes, that is possible.  However, the solution is not trival, and there are a few different ways to do it.

Here's an article with a sample:

You'll find several posts here on this forum (probably hundreds) on this exact topic.
