Nothing like making things confusing..

 

What does ADOBE call their software to create PDF files? And where is it?

 

All I ever get directed to is Acrobat Reader.  I dont want to read them I want to create them.

 

Alo want nothing to do with offline, could based. I need whatever works on my PC without an internet connection

    First, Hobiecat, don't send email to ANYONE. They are scammers, Adobe never gives support by email.

     

    Second, the app is called just Acrobat, or Acrobat Pro/Acrobat Standard. You do NOT type your stuff into Acrobat and add pictures, though, it is NOT that sort of thing. The idea is that you use your normal software (Word, perhaps) and convert that to PDF. So nothing much to relearn.

    I wasn't planning on sending an email to anyone and no idea why I would.

     

    But thanks for the reply.  All the Adobe website links do is send me to Acrobat Reader, I have reader and well you know can't do anything with that, or sends me to Acrobat DC or to CC. No idea what DC is and no need for anything mor ethat a PDF editor  and certainly not at 60 bucks a month!

    Acrobat DC:2019 is the name of the current version. It comes in Standard and Pro version, the difference being the tools that are built into to (think of standard as "regular" and pro as "extended."

    You can use Acrobat, InDesign, and so on.
