Pdf doesnt open after print to pdf even after the the system preferences are enabled to view the pdf

Hi,

I am an application support specialist my user wants to use adobe print to pdf, to open the pdf after printing.

The option for viewing the pdf after printing is enabled.
Same happening on the server.

rely is off

removed and added the adobe pdf converter in printers. Doesnt solve the issue.

the adobe is latest version.

Please advise.

In case you are still looking for a solution, you can try the below steps:

Sometimes, even with the "View PDF after printing" option enabled, Windows may not launch the correct application.

Steps:
1. Go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps.
2. Ensure that Adobe Acrobat is set as the default app for .pdf files.

Open Acrobat.
Go to Help > Repair Installation to ensure all necessary components are properly installed.

Sometimes print spooler issues can prevent the PDF from opening.
Try restarting the Print Spooler service:
1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
2. Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
