PDF Editing Error

Hello

I am trying to edit a pdf and the message "Acrobat has encountered an unknown error" pops up.  The same error message shows when I try and us the Add Text and Add Image functions also.  This is hugely inconvenient and I am hoping there is a quick fix out there.  I have tried the suggestions from previous forums but nothing works.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Tonic2413522,

What is the exact version of your Adobe Acrobat?

Have you tried to repair the installation? If not then launch Acrobat >Help>Repair Installation.

If that doesn't help then try resetting the preferences of Acrobat, refer to the related forum thread How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.
