PDF Export to Word.doc or Word.docx

Question

I've a fairly simple PDF cv and I'm using Acrobat DC Pro to export it to .doc and .docx

Both fail badly when opened in Open Office.

I know it may be Open Office that's to blame but Open Office doesn't usually have more than a few minor issues when displaying .doc and .docx files created in other apps.

Id Acrobat any good at exporting to Word formats or is it buggy?

Anyone with any experience of trying this I'd love to hear from you!

I have been using Export PDF for several years now without any issues.Today when I convert documents to Word, the formatting is a mess. Fields overlap or are in the wrong place.These are PDF documents from a program called Cognos.
