I need help to know how I can send a PDF form with multiple pages/tabs into a single page summary PDF so clients can review content before submission. Its a government interactve form and if I send as a form it wont open on macs easy. So I have seen it done where all pages are summaried and the tabs are locked in the form. Any advice on ho to do this would be appreciated.

Hi Lauren,

What software are you using to create a PDF form with tabs? Or am I misunderstanding you use of the word?

Hi Jane,

Thank you for your post. Little more info. I have a Dynamic XML Form, which once it is filled it is difficult to email to clients as it only opens on window computers and not mobile devices. I think what I need to do is convert it to a static page so the mulitple forms in the one document are frozen and content is all listed for review. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro, but dont know much about the program. Any help is much appreciated!

There are a couple of things you could do.

1.  Create a summary page form that copies data from all the other pages. Then flatten that form before sending

2.  Use the Report object in Acrobat JavaScript to create a script for making a summary page.

Here's an article on using the report object:

You need to tell your recipients to open in Reader. This is just as easy in Mac as Windows, but you have to motivate and support your users to do it.
