PDF Form -- Field Entry with Font that has Swash Glyphs

I am making a font preview file for my customers. It is just a simple fillable form where they type their child's name in one text box, and thirty text boxes are populated with that name, all in a different font.

My question is, some of these fonts have a letter variation that has a swash glyph on the first and last letter, is there a script I could write to turn the first and last letter from the standard letter to a swash glyph variation of that letter?

One of the fonts I use is the Outside font, example attached.

Is this glyph a unique character? If so, do you know what it is?

So am a novice with this, so please bear with me. I believe these swashes are a glyph variant. So in some programs I can select Typography, and then Glyph Variants to change the highlighted letter to a corresponding variant of that letter.

I don't think you can apply that in an Acrobat form field. If you could share a file that has these characters we could look into it in more depth, though.
