PDF Form freezes on scrolling.

We have a form with several pages and quite a lot of fields, and we just noticed that if a user does not tab out of the last field being edited and then tries to scroll up to a previous page, the form freezes at the page break and locks the application.  Is there a way to avoid this, other than simply telling the users to be sure they always tab out of a field after typing data?
