PDF form: Save and Submit button are not working in Google Chrome/Edge

Hi all,

 

I have an interactive PDF created in Indesign with a button Save and Submit the form to Save a file to disk and send an email using mailto:  In Adobe Reader or Pro it works perfectly. However, on Chrome and Edge these 2 buttons do not work.

Has anyone encountered this and is there a way to solve it?

    PDF viewers in a browser, do not generally support interactive features. Nor do most mobile or 3rd party viewers. If you want to use these types of features then you have to restrict usage of the PDF to viewers you know work. Basically Acrobat Pro and Reader.
