Having a issue with PDF maker being disabled from Word 2016. After Microsoft updates, I have to go back into the registry and change it from 0 to 3 and it works.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi Tyler_Lawrence,

As you are experiencing an issue with the PDF Maker add-in, please try the troubleshooting steps provided in the following help document.

- Fix PDFMaker unavailability in MS Office

Check if that helps in resolving the issue.

If the issue persists, please share the details as asked below:

- Acrobat and MS Office version you are using

- OS version installed on the machine

Let us know if you need any help or have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi,

I have Modified  the registry entry for the PDFMaker OfficeAddin key or the PDFMOutlook key. to change the value 0 to 3.  Which works but like I said when Microsoft does a update it will convert the 3 back to a 0. Then I have to go back in Modify the value again.

User is has Adobe Acrobat 2017

Microsoft Office 2016

Windows 7
