PDF margins

Recently, when I’ve created PDF docs using Adobe Acrobat Reader on my iMac, instead of replicating the original file, it will only show it at a reduced scale with a greyed-out margin all round.

Of course, I’ve ensured I have the latest Adobe version. How can I correct this?…
