PDF Merge not working

Can someone help me with this. I am trying to merge multiple files into one. It lets me select all the files, arrange them, and name the new file. Then it says it can't download because the file is password protected. Any ideas? I'm supposed to turn this assignment in tonight. Go figure, I pay for a subscription that doesn't even get me what I need.
