Hi all .i have a motorcycle manual and i want 2 pages of it to merge with no edges to each of the pages, i have managed to get the pages out of the manual, I have even managed to get them in the correct order, when i try to crop the edges the whole page i want goes, I do not have acrobat, my friend does, unfortunately he does not know how to use it,like me, but i have fumblemed my way through it, so advise on how to do what i want would be appreciated, the 2 pages are a wiring diagram that has been cut in 2 to fit in the manual, hence why i want to put them back together,i can then view the whole diagram on my big screen in the workshop and follow the wires from one end to the other. Many thanks steve.

Hi Robbo,

IF they are in vector format (no real way for me to know that at this moment), you could put them together in Adobe Illustrator, combine them on one (large) page, and then save them back into a PDF.

However, If you do make the merge in Photoshop, if you save them in the PNG (8) format the final document will be significantly smaller and better quality than if you save it as a JPG.

Putting it into Photoshop will always damage vector quality. But at the cost of making a HUGE file you can increase resolution (ppi). Look at the options when you open or place the PDF files into Photoshop - don't just accept the defaults.

This is not simple. Maybe you can make two copies of the document and open them side by side showing the opposite halves. There will be a jump but both halves will be visible.

I have managed to get the Two half side by side with the Two page view, That is also how i got them in the correct order, its pulling the 2 half's together with out the page margins, so they merge into one document that i am struggling with, i keep trying different things, It is the first time i have ever done anything like this, i have managed to get the pages into photo shop and trim them and merge them, It will save the image, and then when i enlarge them they lose quality, where as in acrobat document the quality is still there when i enlarge them, It is very difficult to trace one wire from one drawing to the correct wire on drawing two.hence why i would like to be able to do this.
