pdf pages not fully loading in DC v2024.004.20220

I'm using a menu to call pdf files as follows:

Execute a menu item

Go to page in another document

File path/name etc

Page 1

Zoom level Fit page

 

Files are only partially loading, Windows 10 reports adobe is not responding

No issue with code on W11 using v.PRO2020.005.30730

 

I believe a recent update to DC has caused this issue, can anyone help please

    Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

     

    We made certain stability and performance enhancements to the application in the subsequent updates.

    Would you mind updating the application to the latest version (2024.005.20xxx) and let us know if the issue is fixed?

     

    To do so, go to Menu-> Help-> Check for Updates.

    Updated to 20414, still the same problem, on W10 only, W11 works fine, but worse as all settings have gone back to defaults, easy to change the security settings though. Large pages 25MB+ only load 2/3 of the page, if you leave it it comes back Not responding, file will open properly if you load file directly from disk, but if using Adobe menu app it fails. You can make it open by selecting a tab such as tools and going back to file and then it finishes loading, regards, Steve
