PDF Preview glitching images

Hello,

I have designed a PDF in Illustrator which is using a few clipping masks. When I open a PDF preview on both Mac and PC, the image is glitching and breaking out of their clipping masks. The PDF is meant to be viewed digitally, so this is not ideal. I know it's a preview glitch and that zooming in and out typically fixes the issue, but this is for a client and I need a better solution. I've exported as a "high quality PDF" from illustrator as well as "smallest file size". This needs to be able to send in emails so it has to be a smaller file size.

Thanks in advance

Hey @MadisonWollner

Have you been able to find a solution to this issue?
With the limited information available, it is hard to make any suggestions here. Are you viewing the file in Acrobat or Reader? How does the preview work if you try opening the PDF file, say, Google Chrome?

Is it possible for you to share the file with us? If you want to share privately, click on my profile and click on Message at the top right corner.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.2089x installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Let us know how it goes.
