When I open a PDF file I can scoll for a few seconds then I can't and then the PDF closes automatically

I have no idea why this is happening. I have cleaned my hard drive from any thing that could be affecting anything related to this problem.

So HELP I pay for Adobe each month and now I can't really use it

@dr_r_jerry_6966 It really sounds like the PDF is corrupted. There may be an image or a place file or a font/widget in the PDF as soon as it scrolls it closes. Can you try and download a fresh PDF or if you are on a MAC, open the PDF on Preview, and re-save and re-name the PDF; if you are on a PC, I can’t remember if ACDSee will allow you re-save and re-name the PDF — are  any other free app on your computer… then double-check if the PDF can re-open in Acrobat without closing or crashing.

Does this happen with all files, or just one (or some)?

Try disabling JavaScript (via Menu - Preferences - JavaScript) and see if it still happens.

All PDF files... I just deactivated all other PC's using Adobe and that did not help

Not sure how that would solve it... Does the application stay open if you open it on its own, without opening any PDFs?

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat)? What's your OS version?
