PDF's not showing images

Hi recently (about 6 months)Our lowres and highres PDF's when attached/shared/emailed via Microsoft Outlook are not showing images when previewed in emails – we now have to advise clients to download to view.Is this an Adobe Acrobat thing or a Microsoft thing?Thanks and seasons greetings

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thank you for reaching out.

Is Acrobat or Reader the default PDF viewer on the affected machine? If yes, please ensure Acrobat/Reader is updated to the latest version.

Please ensure your copy of Adobe Acrobat is updated, to check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.

Could you share a screen recording of the issue and a file using which it is reproducible?
Lastly let us know how many users are impacted at your end.
