PDF's will not open

I am running 10.9.5 and have the latest CC Adobe Acrobat DC and all of a sudden the program will not open any PDF's. I double click and it opens the program bit nothing happens, I go file, open and nothing happens. I have restarted, I have reinstalled, I have installed through a network and reinstalled through WIFI. No luck. I can't seem to find anything on the forums about this. Any ideas?
