PDF shrinks files bigger than 5m

So i have an indd file thats 5320x1535mm when i pdf teh file its shrinks down to 5080 x 1535 mm
i get a warning in indd that acrobat doesnt suport file sizes that big. is there a workaround for this issue?
 printer wants a pdf so exporting as a jpg in indd is not an option.
