PDF to word

Trying to convert saved newspaper clippings that are in pdf to word so I can copy and paste into a genealogy program rather than retype it.

Did all the steps and paid for a subscription for a year.

The word doc has the actual clipping in a picture frame, (png.) that I cannot edit.

Any suggestions?

The clippings are the results of a scan, most likely. As such, they are just images.

Converting the file from PDF to Word won't change that. To be able to edit them you would need to use an image editor.
