PDF to Word conversion - characters individualised

When I convert a PDF to Word, the characters are individualised, ie each letter is a separate component that I can select. 

 

Is there any way to correct this so that it is in true Word format?

    Hi, @Kate24374173c3qv, can you share the original document? Where did it come from? Do you know who (and how) it was made?

     

    In the meantime, can you try to export it in a .txt format? You might loose some of the formating, but it "should" maintain each word as a word (not letters).
