Hello, I would like to know why in a same pdf some pages appear locked for editing wheras other are unlocked. They were produced with the same PDF rendering engine.

In sample attached, pg1 and 4 are unlocked (and I have edited them omn Acrobat DC), while pgs. 2, 3 appear locked.

Any insights would be appreciated

The internal structure of these pages is corrupt. Whatever application created them did a bad job of it.

Hello Try67.... HERe you have the original document This is without any editing in Acrobat DC. Is this document featuring the same problem ?  And what is the structural issue we are speaking of ?

Thanks & KR, A.

Yes, it has the same issues. I can't point to the issue exactly. It will require some more in-depth analysis, but you can easily see it by opening the Content panel in Acrobat. Then expand page 1 and you'll see a bunch of objects under it (Paths, Texts, etc.):

Same with page 4. But try to open pages 2 and 3, and nothing appears... This indicates an internal problem with those pages.
