PDFMaker Add-In for Access 2019

I recently purchased a new desktop with the latest O365 Pro subscription and Acrobat DC Pro subscription. The PDFMaker Add-in is enabled for Word and Excel, but no add-ins are available in Access. I tried to manually add the PDFMaker add-in, but was denied as it was not a valid Office dll (or something to that sort).

In previous versions of Acrobat Pro and Office Access, I was able to use Acrobat within Access to generate reports, but now am unable to do so.

How do I get the add-in to show up in Access?

Hi,

Quickly recapping your inquiry:

I recently purchased a new desktop with the latest O365 Pro subscription and Acrobat DC Pro subscription. The PDFMaker Add-in is enabled for Word and Excel, but no add-ins are available in Access. I tried to manually add the PDFMaker add-in, but was denied as it was not a valid Office dll (or something to that sort).

  • This is more of an integration and compatibility issue between the MS Office product that you purchased and the Add-ins that Microsoft currently supports. This is not really an Adobe Acrobat Pro DC  issue.  The PDFMOfficeAddin.dll  that you tried to install seems to be incompatible with your new version of Office365

In previous versions of Acrobat Pro and Office Access, I was able to use Acrobat within Access to generate reports, but now am unable to do so.

  • You've answered your own question. You were able to use it before but now you're unable to because the Add-in DLL is incompatible with your new MS Office product.

  • You need to seek guidance for this in a MS Office support forum or try the Microsoft support suggestions from the link below:
