Question

PDFMaker in Office 365 Word omits images. Print to Adobe PDF includes images.

Large Word file that contains imported RTF that includes monochrone pictures. The RTF files are generated from Enterprise Architect, a system modeling tool based on UML. Word displays the images properly and prints them properly. Word print to Adobe PDF creates PDFs that contain the images. PDFMaker allocates space in the PDF file for the images but does not include the images themselves. I have tried various combinations of conversion options without success. Wondering if there is a restriction in PDFMaker for converting image types that does not exist when printing to distiller?

See what happens if you use Word's native “save as PDF.” If the same problem occurs, the problem is within Word itself which provides an identical output stream to both PDFMaker and Microsoft's “save as PDF” (although PDFMaker is much more refined and doesn't have the “issues” of Microsoft's implementation).
