PDFMaker Mail Merge in MS Word failing to email attachments

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/pdfmaker-mail-merge-in-ms-word-failing-to-email-documents/m-p/13081220#M371412  I am having the same isuse as this poster, but I do not know how to solve it or how they solved it, my Outlook is up to date. 

 

I am attempting to send a blanket email with invidualized attachments via mail merge. 

 

I get the same error message as the poster linked above, and have ensured all of my emails are correct. I am also using Outlook, but working in offline mode so that I can double check and preview the messages it delivers. 

 

Please advise and see screenshot of error message, thank you.

Sorry for the delay in response.

Since you have managed to find out a related discussion, which also has a solution marked correct here, have you tried the suggested troubleshooting steps? 

  • Update Outlook
  • Uninstall and reinstall it

If this doesn't help then 

Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Start-up", "Protected View," and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat 

and try again.

Note: these changes are only for testing purposes. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting
