PDFs and ACroBAT are IMPOSSIBLE to use. HANGz

Question

WTF is wrong with PDFs and acrobat? Are there defaults that cause it to hang- it hangs whenever ANY pdf is opened- clicking in the pdf and scrolling hangs- the delays are infuriating. NEVER try and do something last minute with PDFs- editing them will make you late for meetings, projects, and life. Acrobat is sooo Undepenedable.

PDF files were never meant to be edited, and Acrobat was never a word processor application (like Word) or a design layout one (like InDesign). The fact that Acrobat allows you to edit PDFs at all should be considered a "bonus" and only be used as a last resort. If you want to make a change to the static contents of a PDF file you need to do so in the original file, and then create a new PDF file from it.
