PDFs suddenly only low-resolution

Suddenly I have problem where my PDFs created in Acrobat Pro X 10.1.6 are a very low, unacceptable resolution. It doesn't matter if I am starting with high-resolution Photoshop tiffs, Quark layout file set at 300dpi output, or a Word docx.

Please help! Thank you.

I am getting the same and Imy work is being immediately and adversely affected.  I hope one of the replies to your post  resolves this crisis.

Could you please share more information about the issue you are experiencing? Does it happen with a particular PDF or all the PDFs you open? Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

More information would be helpful for further investigation.

Dear Meenakaski,

 

This happens now to all my PDFs -including ones that used to look fine (high resultion).  

Here is a screen grab  about how the PDFs now look like.  Very low resolution and much less clear than before (please make the image larger to really see the issue).

You may also refer to Adobe PDF conversion settings, Acrobat

Create high-resolution print-ready PDFs using Acrobat DC

Check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, install the updates and reboot the machine and see if this brings any difference.

Note: Above suggestions may or may not work, as Acrobat Pro 10 is already declared as an end of support product, End of Support means that Adobe no longer provides technical support or distributes runtimes. This policy affects product and security updates for all derivatives of a product or product version (localized versions, minor upgrades, operating systems, dot and double-dot releases, and connector products).
