Adobe Acrobat DC would not open after Big Sur updates last night.  Therefore, pdfs don't open, which I need for work.  I've uninstalled, re-installed - but failed. restarted the computer.  Can't update Acrobat because, well, it does not exist on my computer now. Too many hours already trying to resolve.  So........  not sure how to proceed. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your response!

I had to contact Adobe directly to get help.  They were wonderful!!!  It took an hour and a half to resolve the problem with LOTS of walk through help.  It was so appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Adobe Acrobat DC would not open after Big Sur updates and Acrobat DC doesn't exists on your computer now.

Please try to reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works for you.

If it still doesn't work, please try to enable the root account on Mac as described in the help page: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204012 and try using the application there and check.

    Regards

    Amal
